In Africa, the SRA mission is lived through education, social empowerment, healthcare, and pastoral ministry. By serving children, youth, families, and those on the margins, the sisters seek to build a future of hope, healing, and faith, inspired by Mary, Queen of the Apostles.
The sisters provide quality education to vulnerable children through Fr. Bodewig Nursery & Primary School, St. Mary’s Secondary School, and Divine Hope Learning Centre. These institutions offer learning opportunities, care, and hope for children and youth in challenging environments.
Through Fr. Bodewig Social Centre, the sisters empower youth and women with skills in tailoring, computer training, and hairdressing. They also serve street children and collaborate with UCDT to support community development projects.
SRA sisters offer compassionate health services through mobile clinics, community health programs, and clinics in Masese and Malongwe. They also minister to prisoners in Jinja, bringing healing, comfort, and pastoral care.
In parishes and local communities, the sisters teach catechism, visit families, accompany the youth, and support the poor. Through prayer, presence, and service, they strive to bring Christ’s love to all.
Sisters visit the families, pray with them and guide them. They also conduct Rosary in the villages along with the families of the villages.
